I sit alone in the dark in my bathrobe & watch Star Trek. I listen to polka incessantly. I eat pimentos and put the olives back in the jar. Wanna' hang out with me?

OK, so that's a complete lie. I am FarmWife. I am posting in my sisters place to help encourage her to post more. We'll see if it works. I'm not holding my breath.....

Best Friend

I know I haven't posted in forever but here goes! 

  This is what has happened in the past.... I dunno...... month. Well I'll start with tonight. My best friend in the whole world came to see me tonight! She lives in D which is REALLY far away from me and her godson! Who looks sooooo cute right now! He's sleeping and has a mohawk! He and I got our hair cut today, way long over due! Mine is supposed to look like Meg Ryan's which if it were blond and curly yes... but as of now.... not so much. But anyway! She and I and the gang went to  the tattoo parlor and she got her cartilage pierced and I got my belly button redone! Grams got a tattoo with all the names of the kids. It's really cool! It's a trinity with the names surrounding it. Ht kept us entertained. Aunt Twix, Ht and I walked to Krispy Kreme! I miss her she need to move closer so I can afford to go visit her! Well I better stop for tonight!

Rent Head

I'm swiftly becoming a rent head! I love Adam Pascal!!! Did I ever mention I'm married to a musician? Now if only he could sing as well as he plays. Well he does have one great undiscovered talent! He can play the guitar with his butt! Let me explain... He played at the Hard Rock Cafe and played part of a riff behind his back. Two of our good friends were with us and she announced after the set was over that she didn't know he could play with his butt. I miss little Mrs. Librarian. She is one of the sweetest people I know! She just had to go and move to the great land of Disney!

I just figured out that I can download a movie soundtrack to my ipod from a burned DVD. It won't play on my xbox or my mac but it'll give me the soundtrack. I don't understand technology! It's a good thing Axl does. Ht could probably work this better than I could. He's been playing Forza motor sports with dad for the past 2 days. Not really playing but yelling at the TV and pausing and dancing to the music. I better go and fix these boys dinner. They're STARVING!!! I'm getting a little hungry myself.

Watch the Lamb

Well to those of you read Farmwife's blog.... she's my sis and one of her blogs sent me back to my childhood. Even though she can remember things a whole lot better than I can! Oh speaking of watch the lamb,....  to QM I have Pa's Ray Boltz CD. You aren't getting it back anytime soon! I have to download it to my ipod. I can't even read the lyrics without feeling the immense need to call Pa and have him sing it to me. I have yet to act on that impulse but I feel the time may be coming sooner than later. I have to say I'm with Grandma M&M on the fact that it's not as good if Pa doesn't sing it. When I read the words to it I just about broke down and sobbed. I looked on itunes and they don't have it but they do have "Thank you" that's another one that Pa sang pretty regularly at church. That one doesn't make me cry as easily but it has been known to.  I want Ht to look back on his childhood and be thankful for the traditions even though Axl's family doesn't really have any traditions like that. They used to but certain people in the family did everything and others don't make an effort at all even to come. So I guess it's my responsibility make sure he understands how important they are.  Well I have to go introduce him to one of the most awesome shows ever!!! Fraggle Rock! I found it at Target have I mentioned that I love that store!

Can't have nothin'!

Well my vacation started off rather well but that's not how it ended. It all began warm and sunny, just beautiful outside! Ht and I washed our car. He just wanted to spray the hose, but he couldn't do it by himself. He helped me with that and tried to eat the soap off the car. I greatly discouraged that, but he figured it out on his own that soapy car just isn't a good flavor. I did get a bit of sun that week I had to go to L-burg :p and I got soapy car which didn't bother me. It was the fact it was only on 1 shoulder and to top that off it wasn't even the shoulder that I have my tattoo on!!  Nothing much happened after that until Easter! It was Ht's 1st ever Easter egg hunt! Ohhh that was very exciting and rather chilly. It got really cold, really quick, but I did hear that Farmie got snow that day. I could only wish. I'll take snow over flip-floppy weather any day! We went to Granny & Pop's in Nowhere Tn. (it's right next to hole in the wall Tn in between that and spit across Tn) Well where we live is known as the dimple of the universe! Look what Ht has to look forward to when he becomes famous. 

Well anyway back to the point! That's when everything went down hill!!! Pocket's had been sick prior to all this and get better,..... so we thought. Well she was but no-one else was. Ht and I were sick Monday and Tuesday. Then Axl got it and finally Grams has it. I bet you thought that was the worst of it! HA! Had ya fooled! I wish it was that easy, but noooo. I'm hoping God has something to show me from all this and I'm praying that I'm willing to see it! I went back to work wed. morning as planned Axl was at home with Ht even though he still wasn't feeling very well. I called home to check on them at about 11am and found out that they were on their way to the Doctors office. And that my friend is a whole 'nother blog! I have to gain my composure before I write about that. Till then have a fabulous day!

Vacation!

Yeah!!! I'm on Vacation!!! I didn't think it would ever get here! I have very high hopes for my cleaning and organizing. I have a large fear that it's going to rain and be cold the entire time I'm off. I really wanna take Ht to the park sometime in between now & Friday. It's 11:30 & ht is finally sleeping so I'm calling it a night!  

    (gasp!) I can sleep in a little bit!

Saturday night

Well nothing much is actually going on. Axl is unpacking camera equipment for a shoot tomorrow. He has a project due for school. Did I mention he's in school for photography? Stoops is here hanging out on my couch, and Ht is spending the night with Grams down at Granny's house in the middle of nowhere, but I'm sure he's having fun. Pockets is there to entertain him. The funny thing that happened yesterday is that QM & Pa got DSL finally! Pa was almost in deep trouble with QM because he couldn't get her blog working and almost lost their address book. Qm & I were in the living room when I heard " Look at your ring and go to your happy place!" "You can't afford to kill me." That's when QM found out that Pa almost lost her blog site! I laughed & laughed! 

I'm so excited I'm on Vacation starting Wednesday! Thank God!!!! That means I can get my house clean and I can relax for a while. Doing nothing but spending time with Ht and going to Target!!! I have to make his Easter basket but I'm not sure what to put in it. I have to find his eggs that I bought them last year they are colored like sports balls. - Footballs, Baseballs, Soccer balls and I don't remember what the last one was if there is even another one. Oh goody another excuse to go to Target! 

Super Target!

Well I have to brag just a little bit! They have built a Super Target about 5 miles away from me!!!! I'm so excited! Qm, Ht, and I went shopping today... I got some Fabulous shades and new earrings! Ht got the cutest shirt It says..... "I still live with my parents". I think they need to make it bigger for his Dad. I'm gonna be soooo broke! We found some great shoes for the girls( B.Girl & Bitsy)! but we didn't get them cause we didn't know what sizes to get & QM left her phone in he car. KK is working there I don't know how she does it I wouldn't have anything from a  paycheck left! Did you know they sell converse?! QM found a very sparkly pair they were really cute. 

Other big news...... I have to drive Pa home today. (insert maniacal laugh) He met me, QM & HT @ Logan's for dinner and He had Qm order a long Island Iced tea.  I saw it and told her that Pa really didn't need to drink that then drive home. She had no idea what it was. So I told her the ingredients. She was kinda surprised,  I'm not sure what she thought it was. That was probably the funniest thing. Pa wasn't drunk,... kinda tipsy; yes.  Drunk; no. He held it better than I would have. And Ht flirted shamelessly with the waitresses. He smiled and batted his seriously long eyelashes, and blew them kisses! Ya know the kids menus they have with the games and all that,.. well he had one and dropped it so one of the waiters picked it up and threw it away. Needless to say he got an earful the rest of the time we were there. The guy would walk past us and Ht would proceed to tell him off! One of the other waitresses brought him another  one and the whole time he had that one he watched that waiter like a hawk with a "You ain't getting this one, buddy!" look on his face. It was priceless. 

Well Axl is trying to get HT to sleep. It's nice to be able to have a break from that. If I put him to sleep I'm usually out either just before or not long after he is. It's really sad you'd think I never slept. He fighting his sleep something awful! Well I better go make his bed! Have a Fabulous night!

Bi-Polar

I'm beginning to think I am Bi-polar, either that or I'm just burned out and don't care anymore. I used to be a really nice person to those who didn't know me well. I used to have alot of compassion for people. I don't anymore. That's not good! I have no patience anymore especially with those I live with. 

I can be happy as a lark and then I get home and someone does something and I want to strangle all of them. There are only 2 people in my house that can snap me out of that state. Axl who thinks I'm just flipping out about nothing and Ht who just yells at me until I laugh at him. I don't know how to portray my feelings to my family without them thinking I'm just being stupid about everything. I get so angry over little things like when Axl comes home I barely get acknowledged by him because he has to check his "stuff." Pockets doesn't listen worth a crap to anything I say, and Grams barely back me & Axl up when it comes to Pockets. I've given up. I'm beginning to feel more stressed out about going home than I do about going to work. I know that at work I can walk away from the situation if I have to. I never feel like I can do that at home. I'm taken as a joke, or just hormonal. Pockets isn't a bad kid,... she is just lazy as all get out. I know what I was like when I was little. QM can tell you lots of times she told me to do something and I just didn't do it but I knew when I better get it done or I was gonna get popped for not doing what she told me to do. I'm still a procrastinator but I know when things have to be done and I do them. I don't like it but it gets done.

SNOW!!!!

Well It finally happened as the weatherman predicted. We got Snow! Ht and I went out and played in it this morning. It's a good thing we didn't wait because after his BIG nap it was melted. This was the first time he's really been big enough to know what it is. (And to Aunt Farmie..... He has been a holy terror since that nap!) He got rather ticked at me for not letting him stay outside. He screamed & yelled & cried & threw a horrible fit! Until he got distracted by something else. Since he woke up it's been "HT! get out of that cabinet!""Get out outta your diaper box" "Ht! Don't touch that!" "Get away from the stove it's Hot!" "Ht! Why aren't you listening?!?!?!" Farmie I think I'm beginning to understand what you go through with B.B. & QM which of us was the worst at not listening to you? Well now he trying close himself in his tool box!  Ok now that's over and we've discovered our baseball game. It's kinda like a tee ball stand only the ball is attached and it makes lots of noise! 

I'm actually really glad to be home with only my son! It's rather relaxing! Especially after the week I've had! It's been one major project after another at work! I'm a visual for Macy's which is alot of physical and mental work. Yesterday was the last of a 6-day run of never-ending projects and meetings. (Ht is sweeping my carpet with the broom while sitting on his ball pen & watching Breakfast @ Tiffany's!)  Well anyway..... Me & DJBB, and DJ Baby Woofer ( he's the 2nd floor visual) had a safety visit from the big dog of the company and a seminar for our mens dept. and a Luncheon @ Opryland hotel and just our every day stuff to do. Then in the morning we are doing a major floor move in our better sportswear dept. which is my floor! It's probably the best idea they've had since we transitioned to Macy's! I'm really excited about this! Well I think that's it for now one of my favorite movies is on.... Pride & Prejudice with Keria Knightly & the boy is screaming at me! Again!

My ramblings

I'm not sure what to tell you about my day, it's been pretty uneventful all except it's snowing! I know it's not gonna stick. : ( But I can hope! Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be icy so I can't go to work! That's what I miss the most about Illinois, you were pretty much guaranteed snow every winter! 

Well right now Ht is using his dad as  a jungle-gym, and pulling trash out of my couch. I'm gonna hurt someone, I just cleaned my living room. Now it looks as though I never touched it. I've resolved myself to not folding or putting up Axl's clothes. I cleaned up our bedroom about 2 weeks ago, I mean QM would be proud of how clean my room was!  I kept asking Axl to come and help me, he never did. All of his clothes are now in a pile on our floor. I don't know what's clean and what dirty, and I don't care. Is that bad? I know it's not the wifely thing to do but I think he's a big boy and can do it himself.

Gram's is watching American Idol and the guy singing is driving my nuts, and yet my son loves it. I guess I should get used to it. Well I better go eat before it's all gone!

In response of my nephew's poop obsession

Ht's Aunt Meme was chasing him around in his ball pen. Well she caught up with him and bit him on the butt. Nobody knew it but he had pooped. So she a got the full flavor and scent. But she should be used to it, when Pockets was about a month old Meme was changing her diaper and she had projectile poop. Well naturally Meme screamed and the poop landed right on the corner of her mouth. 

Well that was the highlight of my day. Other than hearing my youngest niece say "Dada"! She's not allowed to grow up anymore until I get to see her!

The Walmart adventure

Ht, QM and I went to Walmart thursday night. We picked everything up and checked out, as we were getting ready to leave I went to put HT's hat on and discovered it was gone! This is the coolest winter hat ever and he dropped it! It was Black fleece with red flames, and 3 points on top, the only one I've ever seen so I freaked! So we spent the next hour searching for the boy's hat. I was getting the strangest looks from people mainly because I was crawling on my hands and knees in the aisles looking under the fixtures and partitions. I think I even got called a rather ugly name by a man whom I "bumped" into. It's probably a rather good thing he didn't say it loud enough for me to completely comprehend what he said. It was 10pm and I had been at work all day and then had to go to Nashville with Axl to pick up a camera so I was rather tired, and had NO patience left. We eventually gave up after asking just about everyone that worked in the store if they had seen it. So I went to the customer service desk and left my name and number with a bleak hope of it being found. I just knew that some kid had picked it up and their parents didn't have them take it to an associate. It was gone forever! Then on Saturday much to my surprise I got a phone call from Walmart and they had found it! And that is the end of that adventure. So I'm sending Axl and Stoops to go get it. 

Let me introduce me!

Well this is my first blog ever so bear with me! I have a son (HT) who is 16 months old today. He's the spitting image of my husband (Axl) with my clumsiness. He is the best gift that God has ever given me! It's amazing how he can brighten my day with just a look. I feel like I get so little time with my family. I work full time and my husband goes to school and has a part-time job. Thankfully I live close enough to my mom for her to keep him while I'm at work, and thankfully she's willing to keep him, not many working Mom's have people like that. 

We have a rather full house. We live under Axl's Aunt and Uncle

(MEME & Unkle Kess) and their 2 kids (KK and Rabbit) and then there's us 

downstairs Me, Princess as my sister calls me, Axl, Pockets, Axl's little sister, 

and Grams, Axl's mom. Then there's everyone who floats in and out quite often. 

KK's boyfriend, Private J who HTs adores! Rabbit has a new girlfriend almost every week

and then there's Stoops. He's Axl's best friend. And my best friend who lives way to far away,

Aunt Twix. She's in college in Dallas. Well that should give you a peek into my slightly psychotic

life.
